RealClearDefense welcomes original article submissions including reporting, analysis, and opinion/commentary. Articles should be approximately 600-1500 words (strict on the minimum, flexible on the maximum). Longer pieces may be considered for the “Research & Analysis” section.

Articles can be submitted directly to the Editor via email. Please include a short pitch, your biography, and the complete article attached. Please indicate if the piece has been published elsewhere.

RealClearDefense does not offer compensation for written submissions.

If you do not hear back from the Editor within three business days, feel free to offer your article to other publications.
